BOARDS AND COMMITTEES AT DENNIS GABOR COLLEGE

Dennis Gabor College is a state-recognized private institution of higher education with independent legal entity, accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee. The College operates as a non-profit organization, established and sustained by Dennis Gabor Technical Informatics College Distance Education Foundation.

The operation of the college is supervised by the Board of Trustees that is commissioned to follow the interest of the sustainer. The Board of Trustees is also responsible for fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Foundation.

The board responsible for decision-making and supervising the execution of decisions is the Senate, chaired by the Rector of the College.

Within the organization of the College, the basic tasks of education, research and development are carried out by the different institutes:

  • Scientific and Quality Management Committee
  • Credit Transfer Committee
  • Discipline Procedures Committee
  • Appeals Committee
  • Students Scientific Circle Council

Education and research activities are regulated in detail. The College operates according to an ISO 9001 standards quality management system. The education and research work of the different institutes are annually assessed by the relevant committees; their report is advised by the Senate and sent for approval by the Board of Trustees.
